| After a good nights sleep and a bit of TV the kids were ready to go! (Gavin liked sitting on the spiral staircase..Lucas, hanging from it! It went up to another bedroom.) |

| We took a walk down the beach....there was lots of debris in the beach...the locals told us it is never like that...must have been a storm somewhere and the sticks/logs were carried in the water and dumped on Galveston island. |

| After our walk and hearing about a thousand "can we go swimming's?" The kids headed into the water! It was funny when they came out and made comments about the salt water...we are so spoiled here with our huge fresh water lake! |
